LazySmurf is the lead developer of the Omen project, and Commander in Chief of LazySmurf Development, the development firm which created Omen.

LazySmurf was born and raised in Canada, but moved in December 2021 to pursue a software development career in Northern Europe. LazySmurf was born in Toronto, Ontario, but quickly moved to Cambridge, Ontario before turning one year old. One day after LazySmurf's 6th birthday, the family moved to London, Ontario, where LazySmurf would spend the next 20 years, before moving to Europe.

LazySmurf has been interested in and learning more about computer science, programming, software development, hardware, software, and everything related to technology since early childhood, but especially after age 7, when a sibling introduced HTML and PHP to LazySmurf. After this, LazySmurf continued to learn to code, learned about best practices in software development, security, computer science, data management, and more, over many years. After more than a decade of learning for fun, LazySmurf decided to make a career out of this hobby by offering to develop websites and software solutions to local businesses in London, Ontario. Creating solutions for several small businesses locally over the next 7 years. After moving to Europe, LazySmurf got a proper career job in web development and automation technologies.
